Alan pioneered short-duration, actively managed secondary growth-fund strategies designed to unlock growth liquidity from the underlying portfolio. He builds concentrated, high-conviction positions in category-defining private companies, with current holdings including Anthropic, SpaceX, Cohere, Revolut, Crusoe, Varda, and OpenEvidence, among others. Notable exits include Monday.com, Lemonade,Circle, Netskope, Klarna, SpaceX, and Lambda Labs.

Alan began his career in South Africa. He held senior roles in investment banking and management consulting at First Rand Bank, Goldman Sachs, PwC, and KPMG, working across South Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. Alan holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and psychology and a postgraduate law degree (LLB), from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, he holds an MBA degree awarded jointly by NYU Stern, the London School of Economics, and HEC Paris.
